Rebecca Hardesty, PA-C is a licensed Physician Assistant who comes to Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates with 15 years of womens health experience. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University before attending PA school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. After completing her studies, she worked in private practice as well as in an academic setting and has served as a clinical educator for the UTSW Physician Assistant program for several years. Rebecca has a special interest in womens health and feels grateful to be able to help care for women during some of the most exciting and challenging times of their life.

She regularly sees patients for annual exams, gynecologic problem visits, IUD insertion/removals, Nexplanon insertion/removals, birth control counseling, routine OB visits, and hormone replacement management. Rebecca is dedicated to promoting a team approach with the physicians and nurses to provide excellent and timely patient care.

She and her husband, an emergency medicine physician with Texas Health Resources, have 2 young sons in the Highland Park school district. When not at work, she enjoys attending her childrens sporting events, traveling, watersports on the lake, and stays busy as a cub scout den mom.
