Katie is a Board-Certified Womens Health Nurse Practitioner and is licensed by the state of Texas to provide care to women throughout their lifespan. Her background includes eight years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.

In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Katie also has an outstanding academic background as a graduate of the Baylor University Nursing program. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and graduated in the top of her class in the Womens Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Texas Womans University.

Katie joined Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates in 2015. She believes in providing women with sensitive, individualized care through health promotion, education, and counseling. Katie strives to build a long-lasting and trusting relationship with patients by taking the time to listen and understand each patients particular needs.

Katie has been married to her wonderful, patient husband, Preston, for almost 10 years. They are very blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Henley, who is 2 years old. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and trying to keep up with her very busy 2-year-old! Having Henley has really allowed Katie to add much more to her practice. She has said that it allows her to truly understand the provider side and the mother side of things.
