Angela is Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates Clinical Nurse Manager and oversees our amazing team of nurses and technicians. She joined Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates in 2008 as a staff nurse working with Dr. Jeffrey Thurston and has worked directly with each of the physicians here. Angela continues to be involved with direct patient care while utilizing her leadership and management skills to facilitate the needs of our physicians and clinical team ensuring quality care is delivered every single day to our patients.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her long-term employment has been the relationships she has developed and maintained with many of Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates patients over the years. She received her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree from Grayson County Community College in Van Alstyne, TX in 2007. Becoming a nurse was an easy decision because Angela has worked in healthcare as a medical assistant beginning at the age of 16. She worked as a surgical scrub technician in labor and delivery and then the post-partum/nursery unit in Sulphur Springs, Texas for seven years prior to joining Walnut Hill OB/GYN Associates team. When Angela is not caring for our patients and managing the clinical team, Angela enjoys spending time with her five boys and grandchildren, traveling, and working out.
